Our client, an industry leader in data center operations and construction, is seeking a Construction Manager 5 to join their team. As a Construction Manager 5, you will be part of the DC Operations Field Management supporting strategic project delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Manager 5

Location: Des Moines, IA (onsite)

Pay Range: $76.10 - $83.70

What's the Job?

Manage multiple construction projects from inception through closeout, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Coordinate and oversee day-to-day field activities, including safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.

Review project plans, scope of work, and procurement processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and project walks to monitor progress and quality of work performed.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in construction management, preferably with data center fiber installation projects.

Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, or similar PMIS.

Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods and safety programs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
