As a Security Officer - Industrial Credential Screening in Willard, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and drivers while conducting routine patrols of assigned areas. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Operate the access control post at a manufacturing and industrial location by verifying identification, authorizing entry and/or exit, and directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process.

Issue, collect, and account for visitor credentials, temporary badges, and/or access cards in accordance with site procedures.

Maintain accurate access logs and reports, including visitor sign-in, contractor check-in, deliveries, and key control documentation as required by site policy.

Screen and control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates and/or entry points, including coordinating with receiving and shipping personnel for scheduled and unscheduled deliveries.

Monitor cameras, alarms, and other access control systems to identify unusual activity and report concerns per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when directed by protocol.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, docks, and restricted areas for unauthorized access and/or irregular conditions.

Assist with investigations by preserving information, completing written statements, and documenting observations in incident reports.

Communicate clearly with supervisors, site contacts, and local responders, providing timely updates and following chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
