Mohawk Hospitality Group, LLC (Schenectady, NY) seeks Housekeeping Attendants - 6 full-time, temporary, jobs available 4/1/2026-09/30/2026. Work hours: Wed-Sun, 9am-5pm. 37.5 hours per week. Hours and schedule may fluctuate due to business needs. Overtime hours will vary. $18.92/hour, OT at $28.38/hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Wednesday. H-2B application to be concurrently filed with USDOL. Duties: Clean rooms and common areas. Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, & clean hotel rooms. Change and laundering linen. Replenish restroom supplies. Scrub lavatory, floors, walls, mirrors & fixtures in rooms. Maintain the cleanliness of hallways and common areas. Sort, wash, dry and fold laundry. Advise manager/desk clerk of rooms ready for occupancy. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for long periods of time. No experience or education required. On-the-job training provided. Worksite: Comfort Inn & Suites: 168 Sacandaga Rd., Schenectady, NY 12302. Worksites in Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County, and Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. Optional third party housing arrangements may be deducted and paid directly to the landlord. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
