The Risk Management Intern will gain hands-on experience in/exposure to corporate insurance programs, claims management, loss analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a hospitality organization. Who You Are: A highly motivated and results driven self-starter with a "can-do" problem solving attitude Service oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills Proactive and engaging, flexible in nature, possess sound judgment with a collaborative style that fosters teamwork and cooperation beyond the immediate team to the broader organization Dedicated to the details and the deadlines, always looking to dot every "I" and cross every "T" in a timely manner Someone with business acumen, having the ability to integrate into and emulate the Loews Hotels culture Veterans and military spouses encouraged to apply What You'll Do: Assist in gathering exposure data (e.g., property values, payroll, revenue) for insurance renewals/budgets Compare contract requirements to the COI evidenced by partners and identify insurance requirement gaps to risk management leaders Observe broker and underwriter meetings to understand renewal negotiations and market dynamics Help maintain policy schedules and summarize coverage by location and policy term Participate in preparing insurance renewal submissions and exposure summaries Assist in compiling claim data and preparing loss runs for carrier and broker review Participate in claim review calls with adjusters and internal stakeholders Assist Claims Manager in reviewing claim and incident analytics Support implementation of RMIS System Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards May be required to work varying schedules as needed to support business operations Attend/complete all required training and meetings Perform other duties as assigned/requested Your Qualifications Include: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Currently pursing a bachelor's degree in risk management, Insurance, Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field A cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher from an accredited college or university preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Po
