Looking for local truck driving jobs? J.B. Hunt is hiring intermodal truck drivers! Drive with J.B. Hunt Intermodal and enjoy express access railyard gates, onsite maintenance and 100% company owned equipment.

This position is paid an hourly rate for all hours worked plus an activity-based bonus payment. The activity-based bonus payment is the sum of your eligible activity pay less your base hourly earnings for the week.

$18 per hour

Holiday pay per day: $220

Automatically Applied Eligible Activities:

Daily tenure rate*: $3-$36 per day after one year of service

Cent per mile rate: $0.47

Detention pay: $21 - $26 per hour

Drop and hook pay: $35 per stop

Live load/unload per stop: $53 per stop

Hazmat per load: $25

Refrigerated per load: $30

Vendor drop: $20 per load

Manually Entered & Manager Approved Eligible Activities:

Chassis move: $15 per move or $21 per hour

Compliance: $21 per hour

Conglobal/Carson yard stacking: $39 per occurrence

Conglobal/Carson yard unstacking: $15 per occurrence

Cross-town moves: $15 per move or $21 per hour

Driver assist: $10 per occurrence

DOT inspections: $21 per hour

Dwell moves: $15 per move

Empty moves: $15-$25 per move or $21 per hour

Empty search: $21 per hour

Office work: $315 per day

Overweight delivery moves: $15 per move

Long haul pay: $39 per load

Mandatory meetings: $26 per hour

Mechanical breakdown: $21 per hour

Port work exception pay: $22 per move

Rail delay: $21 per hour

Rework pay: $21 per hour

Safety training: $21 per hour

Scaling pay: $15 per occurrence

Truck order not used: $20 per occurrence

Refused delivery: $35 per stop

Waiting on power unit: $21 per hour

Yard work: $21 per hour

New hire training pay: $21 per hour

Rest breaks paid at the hourly rate, plus an additional amount for the activity-based bonus payment.

Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $70,000

This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance, as applicable.

J.B.
