Schedule: Full Time - Year Round

Reports To: Facility Maintenance Manager

We are thrilled to launch our North Campus in the 26-27 school year, initially serving about 300 students in grades K4-6 and 9.

In This Role, You Will :

Work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues, supervisors, students, parents/guardians, and community members, maintaining positive, solution-oriented relationships that foster a strong, inclusive environment for optimal learning.

Continuously seek professional growth through building and department meetings/professional development, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars/in-services.

Serve with a flexible, open heart that recognizes no duty is outside the scope of your role--we are a team that is stronger together in service of our students.

Supervise and manage the campus' maintenance, grounds, and cleaning staff. These duties include coordination of staff's professional growth, accountability, scheduling and teamwork.

Understand and communicate current developments in the repair, maintenance, and custodial areas through reading, networking, and participation in appropriate workshops, meetings and involvement in professional organizations.

Coordinate contractors and vendors supplying construction, maintenance, grounds and cleaning services.

Oversee preventative and general maintenance along with assisting in long term maintenance planning.

Demonstrate skills and knowledge in problem solving through general and preventative maintenance.

Demonstrate skills and knowledge in various skills related to projects and maintenance (Drywall/Painting, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, etc.).

What We're Looking For:

A GED or HS Diploma and a valid driver's license.

At least 2 years of related experience. Licenses and certifications not required.

Strong working knowledge of building maintenance.

Exceptional attention to detail, while still keeping the bigger picture in mind.

Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Effective skills in working with hand and power tools.

Efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks.

Active participation in a Christian church.

A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student.

Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model.
