Job Title: Sales EngineerJob Description

The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales and effectively communicating with customers. This role involves enhancing customer satisfaction, supporting project meetings, and maintaining overall sales performance.

Responsibilities

Achieve departmental business plan objectives.

Ensure compliance with existing quality systems such as TS and ISO.

Enhance customer satisfaction expectations.

Support project and PEM meetings as required.

Maintain sales activities with assigned customers.

Develop and sustain new business with current and new customers.

Conduct customer visitations and presentations.

Communicate customer requirements with other departments.

Collect and document market data related to competitor products and market trends.

Create and modify company marketing/sales strategies.

Develop sales forecasts, cost analyses, and regulatory reports.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Manufacturing engineering experience.

Continuous improvement experience.

Presentation skills.

Mechanical aptitude.

Experience with creo and lean manufacturing.

Sales experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Automotive sales experience preferred.

Knowledge of TPS is advantageous.

Familiarity with TS or ISO standards.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced automotive setting, involving collaboration with a team of experienced engineers. Standard work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, within an assembly environment. Employees benefit from good tenure and opportunities to work on new program launches.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.00/hr.
