Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team in Posen, Illinois. In this contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the School Director, managing daily operations, and fostering effective communication within the school community. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a productive and supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide operational support by managing front office tasks, coordinating schedules, and overseeing campus logistics to ensure a well-organized and safe environment.

Serve as a communication liaison between administration, staff, and parents, delivering timely and empathetic updates.

Maintain and organize student records, attendance logs, and health documentation in compliance with state regulations and privacy standards.

Assist instructional staff with supply procurement, development logistics, and administrative troubleshooting.

Collaborate with the School Director to manage bookkeeping, track tuition payments, and liaise with vendors.

Prepare and manage school-wide communications, including newsletters and announcements.

Support the coordination of special education workflows and documentation processes.

Facilitate conference calls, meetings, and travel arrangements for school leadership.

Monitor and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Oversee clerical duties such as filing, document proofreading, and data entry to maintain accurate records.

The salary range for this position is $20/hr. to $23/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements - Previous administrative experience in an educational or school setting is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent typing and data entry skills with high attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including bilingual communication skills, if applicable.

Familiarity with calendar management and scheduling.

Experience in coordinating travel arrangements and conference calls.

Knowledge of clerical and administrative processes, including filing and recordkeeping. TalentMatch®
