As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Knoxville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support smooth operations by observing activity, communicating clearly with team members and site contacts, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including warehouse floors, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Control access for employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery documentation, and directing traffic to designated check-in points.

Monitor shipping and receiving areas for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or unauthorized access, and report conditions that may help to deter theft, damage, and/or disruptions.

Perform vehicle and pedestrian screening as required by site policy, including observing for prohibited items and reporting concerns through established procedures.

Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, intrusion alarms, radio communications, and access control systems, and document observations per site policy.

Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, inspections, and dispatch activity, using clear written communication and timely escalation.

Assist with crowd and traffic flow during peak inbound and outbound periods, including staging areas for tractors, trailers, and delivery vehicles.

Support emergency and evacuation procedures, including guiding personnel to assembly areas and maintaining accountability information when directed by site leadership.

Maintain a professional presence and provide assistance to employees, drivers, and visitors with directions, policy questions, and general site inquiries.

Participate in routine inspections of key areas such as gates, fencing, dock doors, and emergency equipment, and submit maintenance and work order notifications as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21+ years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
