Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate payment of vendors. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Scanning AP documents in pVault.

Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos.

Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and documentation.

Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.

Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

Resolve invoice discrepancies by following through on invoice issues with internal/external customers.

Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents.

Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Other special and/or month-end projects as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable.

Proficiency in invoice processing and purchase order reconciliation.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to perform coding and invoicing tasks.

Experience with three-way matching.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.

Effective vendor communication via email and phone.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
