Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an Accounts Payable Clerk Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Process invoices with accuracy and verify completeness of all supporting documentation.

Match invoices to purchase orders and other relevant documents.

Enter and code invoices into the designated accounting systems.

Handle overages by applying appropriate charges to customers within the accounting system.

Distribute remittance advice to vendors following payment completion.

Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor-related issues.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries effectively.

Support the onboarding process for new vendors as needed.

Tackle additional tasks and contribute to special projects as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience working in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Capacity to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
