Position available:

Full-time: Monday- Friday

Essential Functions:

Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
Works as a team member with other professionals
Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
Conducts individual , family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
Perform job duties under stressful conditions
May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities

Education and minimum qualification:

Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.
Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License

Preferred education and experience :

Two to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling
Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of practice.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of therapists effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices and standards.
