As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, managing badge access, and conducting routine patrols. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and employees. What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.

Provide customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, and assisting with site-specific procedures and policies.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any security-related concerns.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.

Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related needs and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any hazards or maintenance issues that could impact operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
