Description

-Communicates information to customers and sales representatives. -Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. -Negotiate and coordinate rates with carriers and truckers. -Monitor group emails daily. -Problem solving. -Understand the market and conditions. -Issuing quotes and following up. -Cost Analysis. -Must have a commercial/ sales approach to all situations. -Focus will be on pricing/ quoting with some time spent in operations.

-Ideal candidate will possess a "can-do" attitude with a "will do" work ethic. Must have the ability to work in a fast- paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Transportation industry knowledge and experience. Ability to think critically, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively. Ability to monitor personal and shared email inbox with team. Preferred experience in logistics space (trucking, logistics analyst/ coordinator, freight forwarder, customers broker, carrier, etc.).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
