As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution environment. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents and supports a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.

Document and report any unusual incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by location policies.

Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
