Job Summary:The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness and order in building by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors, restrooms, and surfaces. The Custodian will be responsible for areas in the production areas, breakrooms, offices and restrooms.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Education & Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with supervisor at start of shift to determine areas needing immediate attention
Floor Care: sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum floors/carpets/rugs, and buff floors
Restroom Maintenance: clean, sanitize, and restock toilets, sinks, mirrors, and paper towel/soap supplies
Waste Management: collect and dispose of trash from receptacles continuously during shift
Surface Cleaning: dust furniture, walls, fixtures, windows, and disinfect high-touch surfaces (desks and door handles)
Report minor issues like light bulbs, leaky faucets, or bigger problems to maintenance department
Monitor inventory and supplies of cleaning agents, paper products, and other necessary items
Ensure all areas are clean and work areas are free of trip hazards
Follow all safety protocols for chemicals and equipment use to create a safe and hygienic environment
Other duties as assigned

Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.
Safety - Observes all safety procedures and policies; Reports potentially unsafe conditions to supervisor; Uses equipment and materials properly.
Good attention to detail.
Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
