Job Title: Turbine Engine Technician

Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Turbine Engine Technician to join our helicopter engine overhaul team. In this role, you'll work hands-on in a bench repair and testing environment, focusing on the complete teardown, evaluation, restoration, and certification of turbine engines used in heavy-lift helicopters. You'll play a key part in ensuring engine reliability, safety, and performance for critical aviation operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform full engine overhauls, including teardown, fault isolation, component repair, reassembly, and operational testing.

Review and interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins to carry out accurate repairs.

Clean, measure, and inspect parts using precision instruments and visual inspection techniques to identify wear or damage.

Repair or replace components utilizing standard hand tools and specialized precision tools.

Conduct functional checks and performance tests to verify airworthiness and serviceability.

Accurately record inspection results, corrective actions, and parts used in maintenance documentation systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Background in turbine engine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.

Active A&P certificate.

Strong ability to identify and diagnose engine-related issues.

Hands-on experience working with aircraft engines and related systems.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience servicing turbine engines on any helicopter platform.

Military or commercial training in turbine engine maintenance is highly advantageous.

Familiarity with Honeywell or GE helicopter engines is a strong plus.

Must meet ITAR requirements and qualify as a U.S. Person.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
