Customer Account Manager

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at building strong B2B customer relationships. You'll support multiple departments, attend production meetings, work within the company's ERP system, and play a key role in ensuring customer orders move smoothly through the process.

Responsibilities

Produce and negotiate customer quotations and proposals.

Calculate estimated pricing for potential orders using company price lists and prior customer data.

Process incoming customer orders and verify all information for accuracy (pricing, drawings, shipping details, revision levels, etc.).

Enter purchase orders into the company's IQMS/ERP system as needed.

Communicate with customers regarding discrepancies, missing information, or questions related to orders, drawings, or documentation.

Collaborate with Master Scheduling and other departments to track and ensure timely movement of orders through production.

Attend daily production meetings and provide updates as needed.

Independently research answers to questions using internal resources, documentation, and previous knowledge.

Provide Reception coverage when needed: answer calls, transfer calls, monitor front entrance, and assist with year-end filing.

Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in customer service or order support role.

Experience working in the manufacturing industry providing customer service or order support.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working within ERP systems (IQMS experience is a plus).

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve independently.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rahway, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
