Jim Park with Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join is client's team. In this role, you will oversee billing and collections processes to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments. Your efforts will play a crucial role in maintaining organized financial records and fostering positive client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and process invoices for engineering and consulting services, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate with project managers to verify billing details and maintain clear communication.

Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments to support collections efforts.

Address client inquiries related to invoices, payments, and billing discrepancies in a thorough and attentive manner.

Organize and maintain detailed billing records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

Perform data entry and reconcile payment transactions to ensure financial accuracy.

Assist with month-end accounting tasks, including preparing reports and reconciling accounts.

Develop and update spreadsheets and financial reports using Microsoft Excel to support analysis.

Contribute to administrative and general accounting projects as needed to support the team.

Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent is required, with coursework or a degree in accounting or business preferred.

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting support, ideally within detail-oriented services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is essential.

Familiarity with invoice preparation, collections, and reconciliation processes.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Proven ability to collaborate with project managers, clients, and accounting staff.

Reliable attendance and ability to work on-site in San Ramon, California.
