SUMMARY/OBJECTIVEand#10;The CNC Manufacturing Engineer (Senior/Advanced) will provide knowledge and guidance of cutting tools, troubleshooting process and failures as well as improved CNC processes for machined and assembled parts. and#10;Advanced knowledge in multi axis machines, milling/ turning machines, Swiss turning machines and standard conventional machining processes. and#10;Complete understanding of Esprit CAM (Other platforms will be reviewed) software with a complete understanding of G-code and macro programming. and#10;This position requires working knowledge and hands on ability to perform machine run offs, set up's and start-up's. Broad and in-depth knowledge of at multiple machine control systems with a wide knowledge of multiple machining platforms. and#10;and#10;ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESand#10;Proven experience and knowledge to create CNC programs for a variety of CNC machines, including multi axis/ pallet machines.and#10;Develops and implements solutions for processed parts in machining and assembly. and#10;Provides support to help with the development of manufacturing people and processes in a machining and assembly organization. and#10;Supports machining of new product development.and#10;Supports projects and processes working with cross-functional teams to complete tasks on time and on budget. and#10;Works with equipment/tooling and material vendors - Evaluates processes for improvements. and#10;Develops tool setup sheets for operators and machinists to support manufacturing operations. and#10;Provide technical support during DFM process with regard to new and current product development.and#10;and#10;QUALIFICATIONSand#10;Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent experience (15 years)and#10;Experience of general manufacturing processes and Lean Six Sigma Tools. and#10;Experience in programming, machine setup and operation of CNC machines. and#10;Experience in Esprit Cam preferred.and#10;Excellent understanding and experience with CNC controllers (Fanuc, OSP, Siemen's, etc.) and#10;and#10;and#10;EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEand#10;10 years CNC machining and 5 years CNC programming experience.and#10;Lean manufacturing understanding.and#10;Kaizen event understanding.and#10;5S knowledge and experience.and#10;and#10;and#10;
