Job Title: Part-Time Accounting SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Specialist to join our small yet dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining the integrity of our accounting system.

Responsibilities

Enter all financial transactions into the accounting system, including purchases, expenses, revenue, invoices, and payments.

Ensure payments and deposits are recorded accurately.

Reconcile credit cards to ensure financial accuracy.

Issue checks and manage related documentation.

Work with vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies or inaccuracies.

Assist with audits related to workers' compensation, sales tax, and other accounts.

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.

Essential Skills

2-3 years of Accounts Receivable (AR) or Accounts Payable (AP) experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with an ERP system.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite presence but offers flexibility in scheduling. You will work 15-32 hours a week, depending on your preference. Our team consists of just four employees, fostering a close-knit and supportive company culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
