Sr. Manager of Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning
The Sr. Manager of Demand Planning leads the team responsible for managing the Beverage Sales Forecast in accordance with Niagara's organizational objectives and sales/service goals. They are responsible for collaborating with different functional teams (such as sales, planning, manufacturing), customers, and marketing along with statistical model management to develop an informed Tactical Forecast (short term) and Strategic Forecast (Sales Goal) across the company. The Sr. Manager of Demand Planning is also responsible for helping mature and improve the beverage forecasting process through evolving technology requirements and enhanced stakeholder alignment. In addition, this role is accountable for reporting and goal setting related to the sales forecast and accuracy.
Essential Functions
Lead the demand planning team to reconcile statistical calculations, historic trends, sales feedback, new business information, and market updates to generate the best possible short-term and long term Sales Forecast for Niagara.
Monitor and report department leaders on important changes in regional or category trends, customer plans or business strategies that could affect Niagara Sales Forecast Short and Long term.
Facilitate sales team interaction with other departments to address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner to guarantee product availability.
Provide insight to sales team related to their performance on forecast accuracy.
Provide insight to sales team related to their performance compared to the organization sales goal.
Develop customer forecast collaboration initiatives to better capture upcoming trends and changes in short and long term Sales Forecast.
Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement in demand planning processes.
Develop and maintain market insights and competitive intelligence data.
Facilitate tools to the demand planning team to guarantee a constant validation of data maintained in forecasting tools
Maintain a constant Technology search
25% on average travels 1 week out of the month

Competencies
Resourceful in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining.
Intermediate Experience with ERP systems
Intermediate Experience with market data like Nielsen, IRI, or similar
Intermediate experience with supply chain planning technologies like JDA, Logility, Oracle ASCP or similar
Intermediate experience with Supply chain optimization tools such as IBM ILOG LogicNetPlus, IBM IPFA, Llamasoft or similar.
Performs work under direct supervision.
Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with immediate team and peers.
