Job Title: Accounting AssistantJob Description

As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the finance team by managing daily accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate invoice processing, and maintaining smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

Handle daily accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Manage the processing of accounts payable invoices and oversee cash disbursements.

Work closely with team members to verify invoices and maintain high standards of customer service.

Identify and resolve unique or complex accounts payable issues.

Support additional accounting duties as needed.

Essential Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.

Experience in supervising other financial professionals is a plus.

Work Environment

The role is based in an in-office setting with cubicles, fostering a family environment where everyone helps each other. A laptop is provided for work. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
