Job Title: Maintenance Technician II Job Description: Summary: As a maintenance technician, you will perform tasks such as calibrating, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting production equipment in a high-level cleanroom environment,assistingwith inventory management of supplies, as well as fabrication of fixtures byutilizinga variety of hand-powered tools, manual machining equipment. The focus will be on equipment uptime and reliability, preventative maintenance, safety, troubleshooting, controls and automation equipment, and process improvements. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Performs preventative maintenance, conductscalibration,and executes tooling changeovers forproductionequipmentinaccordance withrequirementsand cleanroom standards. Utilizes a variety of hand-powered tools, drill presses, and manual mills to fabricate components or fixtures to beutilizedin machinery.Assistsin SAP equipment profile creation. Performs wiring and plumbing tasks byutilizingschematicsdetailing pneumatic and electrical circuits. Assistsin the procurement of spare parts tomaintainreliable inventory levels. Participates inintegrationof machine components during implementation of equipment. Diagnosesand troubleshootscleanroom equipment issuesin a timely mannerto minimize downtime. Leverages understanding of PLCstomodifyexisting product profiles in automated machinery as needed per requirements. Assistsin creating andmaintainingdetailed equipment documentation. Effectively communicates and collaborates with Maintenance Manager, fellow technicians, and production team to reach departmentgoals. Supportsfacilitiesmaintenance and manufacturing engineering projects. Strictly follows cleanroom protocols. This includes the use of specified protective gear and garments designed tomaintainclean and controlled work environment conditions. Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessand product/system quality. Maintains a clean and safe work area.Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures. Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization. Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, etc.): Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship 5yearsof experiencein industrial maintenanceor equivalent education/vocationaltraining. Knowledge of HVAC andfacilitiessoftware. Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent equipment troubleshooting skills. Understandingofcleanroomassemblyprotocolsandmanufacturing procedures. Ability to set up andoperatemanual machining equipment (drill, mill, etc.) to fabricatea variety offixturesand components. Ability to wire and/or troubleshoot control panels and electrical circuitsutilizingschematics. Ability to plumband ortroubleshoot pneumatic circuitsutilizingschematics. Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Software.Basic computer and data entry skills. Basicproficiencywith PLCs. Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting. Excellenttime-managementskills to prioritize projects. Work Environment/Physical Requirements Must be able tolift upto 45poundsat times. Mustbeableto travel between Chaska and Bloomington sites(paid for time and mileage)if the need arises. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn on the production floor. This includes the use of safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests. Adherence to cleanroom attire standards isrequired(when incleanroom).This includes the use of specified protective gear and garments (gown, hair and beard nets, shoe coverings, and gloves) designed tomaintaina clean and controlled work environment. This role involves working from elevated heights at times. Use of harness and other protective equipmentarerequired.
