We are currently recruiting caregivers to reliably service adult clients in Reading and the surounding areas of Berks County.

As a Bayada Caregiver , you will play an integral part of a caring and professional team by following a written care plan to help our clients stay safe and independent in the comfort of their own.

How You'll Make an Impact

As a BAYADA Caregiver, you will work closely with a Registered Nurse (RN) to follow a customized, written plan of care to improve quality of life of the clients we serve on a 1:1 basis. This is a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your adult clients while providing essential support, this may include:

Activities of Daily Living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care

Household Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, bed making

Meal Preparation and Feeding

Ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices) and Exercises

Assist with Self-Administered Medications

Companion Care

What Makes You a Great Candidate

Previous home health care or patient care are welcomed but not required. No training, no problem, we offer FREE TRAINING ( 2-days virtually).

Ability to understand and carry out directions and instructions and maintain simple records.

Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.

Ability to travel to client's homes assigned.

Strong people skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer skills are highly

Required Qualifications

Minimum one (1) year of verifiable work experience (does not have to be in the HHA field) or have completed a state approved HHA training course or vocational school program and satisfactory references.

Pass a Home Health Aide (HHA) Competency Examination.

Submit to a criminal background check in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.

Be at least 18 years of age.
