POSITION DUTIES:
Human Resources Analyst 9-P11- This position acts as a Labor Relations Liaison, responsible for representing the Department in all matters pertaining to employee-employer relations including conducting employee investigations and advising all levels of management on addressing employee performance and misconduct issues for an assigned caseload in accordance with collective bargaining agreements and Civil Service Rules and Regulations. Position is responsible for grievance administration, including responding to grievances and representing the Department and state's interests in arbitration and Civil Service hearings.

Human Resources Analyst 12- This position acts as a Labor Relations Liaison and serves as the Department's recognized resource for the Statewide administration of the UAW contract and the Department's labor relations policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements, and grievance administration. This position is responsible for conducting employee investigations and advising all levels of management on addressing employee performance and misconduct issues for an assigned caseload. This position is solely responsible for assigned program areas within the Department and is recognized as the expert for employee-employer relations issues for those program areas.

Three years of professional experience providing human resources services equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst, including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst P11.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
