GPI seeks motivated and experienced Office Engineers to work on bridge & highway construction projects with the NJDOT or other local agencies in the New Jersey region. Ideally, we seek someone with a good work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work collectively with our team and clients, and the ability to work on concurrent projects. Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining all project documentationReviewing and processing contractor's payment requisitionsPreparing and processing change orders and submittalsProject closeout and Inter-agency coordinationComplete daily work reports and payments for completed workActs as a liaison between project management, subcontractors, and site engineers to resolve problemsQualifications: 5 years of experience working as an Office Engineer on NJDOT highway and/or bridge projectsNICET III certification is requiredOccasional extended work hours such as Night Shift /Weekend work availabilityKnowledge of MURK recordkeeping, including SiteManager and EBORequirements Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationPossess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job siteRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to stand for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hoursAble to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, wo
