As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your visible presence and friendly communication will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.

Report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.

Assist with access control procedures and verify authorized personnel as required by site-specific guidelines.

Provide visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
