As a Security Officer - Resort Entry Control in Marco Island, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with guests and staff, delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, residents, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment within the premises.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by site protocols.

Collaborate with local staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming atmosphere.

Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
