The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position SummaryThe Department of Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons seeks an experienced endocrinologist to join a multi-specialty medical practice located in the Hudson Valley, Monroe, NY. We are recruiting for the following position:Assistant Clinical Level: Mid-career endocrinologistThis role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic and growing practice.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes.Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional development and growth.Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications.Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients.Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores.Meet or exceed productivity targets.Criteria for Promotion to Associate Clinical Level:Demonstrated leadership roles, such as program director, committee chair, or project lead.Evidence of sustained clinical excellence and innovation in practice.Significant contributions to institutional goals through service, leadership, or advocacy.Strong endorsements from peers, department leaders, and institutional leadership.Consistently high patient satisfaction scores.Achievement of or exceeding productivity targets.Minimum QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) degreeAssistant Clinical: 0-5 years post-trainingAssociate Clinical: 5-10 years post-trainingBoard certified or eligible in EndocrinologyCurrent New York State Medical LicenseFellowship training in EndocrinologyOther RequirementsMedical clearance and participation in the medical surveillance programSuccessful and ongoing completion of compliance and systems training requirements Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Veteran Columbia University is committed to the hiring of qualified local residents.
