This is a Part Time position without benefits.

Shift: 10pm-7:30am (overnight shift)

Job Summary:

Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities. Maintain Supplies as needed- Overnight Floor Tech.

Job Responsibilities:

Floor Maintenance - Perform comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of vinyl, tile, and carpeted flooring, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and stripping as required to maintain hygiene and appearance standards.

Equipment Operations - Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carper cleaners, ensuring equipment remains in proper working condition.

Infection Control - Adhere to strict infection control protocols by utilizing approved cleaning chemicals and methods to reduce contamination risks to patients and staff.

Inspection and Reporting - routinely inspect floors for damage or excessive wear, report maintenance concerns to supervision, and perform minor repairs when appropriate.

Safety Compliance - Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Documentation - Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and ensure compliance with hospital cleanliness, safety, and regulatory policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping or floor maintenance

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting equipment, repetitive movement, and prolonged standing.

Strong attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety

Working knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.

Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and respond to cleaning-related needs.

Must pass a pre-employment background check (which includes criminal records check, driver's history, and verification of work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program. Eligible to work in the U.S. Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
