As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Lafayette, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout the facility, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter areas.

Observe for and report any unusual activities, potential hazards, or unauthorized individuals within the location.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports for review by Allied Universal and client management.

Work collaboratively with site personnel and first responders during emergency response activities.

Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or criminal behavior through visible presence and patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
