As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol Driver in Morris, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, supporting a secure environment through teamwork, reliability, and integrity as part of our caring and innovative company culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.

Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence.

Carry a company-issued firearm as required for the post, following all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.

Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

An armed guard card or license is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
