We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Ramsey, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your accounting skills within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will assist with accounts payable, receivable, collections, and organizational tasks while contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable, receivable processes, including collections and follow-ups.

Assist with organizing and maintaining financial files and documents.

Support accounts payable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Perform account reconciliations to verify financial records and resolve discrepancies.

Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions.

Handle basic accounting entries and maintain detailed records.

Utilize Excel and Navision software for data analysis and reporting.

Provide support for sales order processing and tracking.

Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and operational efficiency.

Adapt to evolving processes and contribute to the integration of systems following a company merger.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.

Strong knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.

Ability to perform account and bank reconciliations accurately.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
