Billing Specialist

Location: New Britain, CT (Fully Onsite)

Pay: Up to $24/hour

Type: Contract to Hire (Full Benefits)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team at a growing moving company in New Britain, CT. This role is critical in ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and excellent customer service. If you have strong organizational skills and enjoy working with numbers, this position is for you

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue invoices for moving services accurately and on time.

Review contracts and job orders to ensure correct billing details.

Process payments and reconcile accounts.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of transactions and assist with month-end reporting.

Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth billing processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business preferred.

1-2 years of billing, accounting, or administrative experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and billing software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Britain, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
