Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Northern Kentucky. This is a Contract position where you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invoice management, payment processing, and financial coding. Experience with SAP S/4Hana is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment approvals.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.

Monitor compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all payable transactions.

Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve efficiency in invoice management.

Analyze and resolve issues related to vendor payments and account reconciliations.

Develop and implement procedures to streamline accounts payable operations.

Supervise and support staff handling accounts payable tasks to maintain productivity and accuracy.

Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all payment transactions.

Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and system use.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable management, including invoice coding and payment processing.

Strong knowledge of check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures.

Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills for resolving payment and vendor-related issues.

Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounts payable.

Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.

Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
