Pay Rate:

$ 21 per hour ( DOE)

What's a typical day as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk? You'll be:

Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment posting, processing of customer payments received via check, credit card, or auto-pay.

Contacts auto-pay customers with expired or declined credit cards to re-process payment and updating customer records.

Sends statements, invoices, and credit memos to customers via electronic or USPS mail.

Sends notices to past-due customers and places accounts on hold.

Assists with contacting customers to update their "remit to" address, collections on very past-due accounts, and an accounts payable function that is customer-specific.

Participates in business-related projects and activities upon request of management.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Two years of accounts payable and receivable experience with general understanding of basic accounting concepts

Proficient computer skills with common business applications including email and Excel

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)

Strong attention to detail and customer service oriented.

Must be able to multi-task
