Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Hydraulics, South Region. This is a remote role from within the United States that will require 50% travel throughout the Southern United States and parts of Mexico.
Eaton is a leader in liquid filtration which helps its customers make clean and pure products spanning a range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, industrial and municipal water, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture and construction equipment, or power generation.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $103000 - $151000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The Regional Sales Manager for the Hydraulics South Region markets and sells Eaton's hydraulic filtration products and services to obtain orders that are profitable to Eaton. The position is responsible for achieving sales objectives of hydraulic products in the industrial, mobile, and lube power markets, as well as growing and maintaining relationships with Eaton employees, channel partners, consulting firms and end users. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to manage the assigned customer base, increase sales in the assigned geography, and provide application guidance and technical assistance to customers. The assigned region for this role includes the southern United States and Mexico.
Job Responsibilities
Implement strategic plan to grow business in alignment with Division Profit Plan goals. Develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements.
Prepare sales presentations to create product understanding and awareness. Quote projects and negotiate correct required pricing.
Build relationships with key end user customers to enhance long-term business prospects.
Maintain positive relationship with Customer Service to ensure all customer inquiries, orders, invoices, and complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively. Resolve any potential customer conflicts.
Canvass the market to gain insight and adjust to ever changing pricing and delivery requirements. Communicate findings to filtration leadership team.
Organize regular training/promotional events for Channel partners. Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist channel partners in promoting sales with advice on sales and promotion techniques and campaigns. Create brand awareness and technical awareness with key customers/potential customers.
Maintain a high level of expertise of all applications and trends to effectively promote Eaton hydraulic products and solutions. Complete ongoing training in both functional and technical skills.
Work closely with the Marketing Development Department to help identify, verify, and pursue development of new market or product opportunities.
Document all activity reports, prospects, and opportunities within the defined CRM contact management database. Provide a 3-month forecast.
Establish and maintain effective communication flow throughout the commercial team and to other departments. Assist team in developing a coordinated sales effort while keeping management informed of market conditions.
Represent Eaton Filtration at trade association meetings to promote product as appropriate.
Build and sustain a robust knowledge of the hydraulic filtration market and products.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global hydraulic team
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and Three (3)+ years of technical sales experience in the hydraulics industry OR HS Diploma/GED and Six (6)+ years of technical sales experience in the hydraulics industry
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company Sponsorship
This is a remote role, that requires the candidate to live within the designated territory (TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL)
Must have valid drivers license with no restrictions
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to travel up to 50% within the listed territory
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution
Master's or MBA degree from an accredited university
Experience working with hydraulic filtration products
Experience managing reps and distributors
Public speaking experience
SalesForce and/or CPQ experience
