Job Responsibilities:
Apply various payments in multiple admin systems
Send cash payments to Gen Pact and answer all queries from Gen Pact related to cash and refunds in various systems
Point person for internal and external contacts in regional offices as related to payments
Work closely with Business Unit to facilitate requests and payment processing
Run reports based on need and analyze for action items
Work with both internal and external clients to resolve discrepancies
Work within the accounting operations team to improve cash and refund processes by understanding processes and systems
Provide exceptional customer service to our BU's and customer related to cash and refunds
Independently work unapplied cash to have it applied accurately and timely
Constantly look for and implement efficiencies to existing cash and refund processes
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
Refund processing and reconciliation in multiple admin systems
Gather cash and refund support for carrier audits
Support Business Units by investigating and resolving ad-hoc payment related inquiries
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Required Experience:
1 - 3 years related experience
The position requires a self-starter and independent individual, with ability to work in a deadline driven environment
Strong communication skills
Excellent verbal skills required
Strong Customer Service focus
Ability to assist and influence others in a positive and professional manner
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and database analytics
Solid understanding of Excel including pivot tables and V-lookups
Ability to adapt in a changing and fast-paced environment
Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Attention to detail and the ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
Ability to take initiative and proactively address potential issues
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Math preferred

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $43,000 to $50,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
