The position is open to all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications below. This position is grant-funded.

The Administrative Assistant II is responsible for entering and maintaining participant and employer data in the WorkSource Georgia Portal, supporting the grant-funded programs for the Apprenticeship and Business Services Teams at the Technical College System of Georgia's (TCSG) Office of Workforce Development (OWD). This position works under the direction of OWD's Apprenticeship Grants & Operations Manager and Business Programs Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Facilitating grant-related participant applications and data entry related to TCSG's grant programs

· Data entry into the WorkSource Georgia Portal and other related data systems

· Preparing data for grant-related reporting

· Assist with preparation of reports

· Assist with planning, supporting, and coordinating meetings, info sessions, to support employers in apprenticeship-related initiatives

· Monitor grant activities for compliance with federal and state regulations

· Assist with apprenticeship-related records retention

· Provide technical assistance to stakeholders

· Assist with grant closeout processes and related ad hoc reporting; and

· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree and One (1) year of related work experience OR High school diploma or equivalent and `Two (2) years of related work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with data entry and WorkSource GA Portal

· Previous experience working with a WIOA funded program

· State or Federal grant management experience; and

· Tracking and managing grant funds.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

· This role requires a high level of analytical and organizational skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

· Superior oral and written communication skills

· Skills in interpersonal relations and customer service; and

· Decision making and problem-solving skills.
