Job Summary: Under broad supervision, may plan, organize, or coordinate the activities of the organization's WC/MCO certification and Rehabilitation Supplier registration programs. Reviews, monitors, and ensures compliance with assigned program area's policies and procedures. Includes coordination and execution of the organization's procedures for registering qualified rehabilitation suppliers and case managers; coordination and execution of the organization's procedures for certifying workers' compensation managed care organizations. Provides general, advanced administrative support to the Division Director.

State Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and four (4) years of job-related experience; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Compliance Specialist 2 (RCP 061) or position equivalent
SBWC Preferred Qualifications
· 5 years of experience in working with rehabilitation cases in the Workers' Compensation field
SBWC Specific Qualifications and Competencies
Provides personal assistance and advanced administrative support to the Division
May represent the Division Director in various matters
Conducts reviews, audits, or surveys of reports from regulated entity operations
Coordinates data management and quality assurance functions
Determines compliance with applicable statutes and rules
Monitors, tracks, and maintains records on compliance by regulated individuals and entities
Coordinates investigations involving allegations of non-compliance consistent with applicable statutes and rules
Research and analyze state statutes and rules regarding policies and procedures
Reviews applications for accuracy and compliance with guidelines, regulations, and laws
Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision and works cooperatively with others.
Completes administrative tasks, file review and research, and special projects as requested to include, but not limited to proof reading and editing documents; preparing documents; understanding and navigating computer claim files
Provides select program oversight which includes interaction with external customers relative to each program
Provides assistance and problem resolution to internal and external Board customers. Telephone and email etiquette is a must, including the ability to comfortably assist attorneys, rehabilitation/medical/business professionals, and injured workers in a professional manner
Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with internal and external agency customers, and other related contacts
Have excellent computer skills to learn and work in the Agency's Integrated Claims Management (ICMS) system
Monitors effectiveness of compliance operations, assesses quality of service and makes recommendations to improve operations
Prepare reports of findings and analysis; may make recommendations to management for operational changes
Receives additional training, as required, to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas
