Our Client, a Food Product Manufacturer company, is looking for a Corporate Affairs Specialist for their Bolton, ON location. Responsibilities:

Entry level position with basic knowledge of Assignment procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks.

Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy.

Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures

This is typically a Assignment with significantly more authority and responsibility at this Assignment level. It should be selected to recognize differences which are not enough to be represented by a separate Assignment level, such as increased proficiency in skills/competencies to perform responsibilities, greater impact to the business unit, customer, segment, geography, etc.

May also provide guidance or leadership to other Associates.

Corporate Affairs

Corporate Affairs is the mechanism and activities by which the company defines itself when engaging with the external world: stakeholders, communities, Associates, media, government, customers, and consumers.

Corporate Affairs protects and enhances the company's business position, advises and guides the business regarding external threats and opportunities (short, mid, long), and align strategies to project or enhance business strategies.

Corporate Affairs Generalist

Associates serving in a generalist role, including members of CA team responsible for support and coordination.

The scope could be a market, segment or global segment role where they manage Public Affairs, Communications and Consumer Care.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or associated profession is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

1-3 years of internal and external communication experience, agency experience a plus

Required confidentiality and professionalism

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Communication skills, people skills, presentation skills, fast mover

Digitally savvy, newsletter platform experience (Poppulo), design skills (Adobe), video developing an asset but not required

Bachelor's degree or certificate in communications, marketing, journalism, or associated profession is required,
