The Opportunity:

Perform visual inspection of cartons for printing, die-cutting and gluing defects while feeding and packing cartons

Report any issue or event that poses a risk to employee safety, the environment and facilities, or food packaging safety and quality

Participate in line clearance procedures after each item is completed

Accurately count, label, and inventory products they produce and materials coming to their work area

Perform quality checks on the product they produce and materials coming to their machine

Assist operators and assistants as needed

Assist with make-readies

Verify case count

Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Each person, regardless of role or position, is responsible for Food Packaging Safety and Quality and GMP

Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner

Work in other areas as needed, including sorting, and Flat Packing

Keep area in specs within all 5S requirements

Work in a fast-paced environment. Complete tasks in a timely manner

Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and instructions

Participate in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, and training

Perform other related tasks as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition and subtraction

Willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods
