Description

We are looking for an experienced Secretary to join our law firm team in Corpus Christi, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting legal staff by managing administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal processes and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.

Handle e-filing and court filings to ensure timely submission of legal documentation.

Maintain and manage attorneys' calendars, scheduling appointments and tracking deadlines.

Transcribe dictation and create thorough and well-structured reports or letters as needed.

Organize and maintain legal files and records for easy retrieval.

Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.

Coordinate administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the office.

Requirements

Strong skills in calendar management and scheduling.

Ability to transcribe dictation with precision.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines.
