Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in accounts payable

Ability to process 200+ invoices weekly

Experience with 3-way matching

Ability to work with PO's

Basic Excel knowledge

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to manage all aspects of expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, and statements. This role requires ensuring timely payments to vendors and maintaining precise records while improving the payment process.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain precise records of all vendor's payments.

Monitor and ensure timely payment of tax liabilities.

Research, approve, and create accounts for new vendors.

Collaborate with facilities to resolve issues.

Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

Maintain historical records.

Pay employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks.

Schedule and ensure vendor payments are made for outstanding credit.

Respond to vendor inquiries.

Verify and update reward program uploads.

Manage telephone and internet services.

Continuously improve the payment process.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
