Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with strong attention to detail to manage full-cycle accounts payable processes while ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities:

Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, reconciliation, and payment processing.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Perform check runs and ensure payments are correctly issued to vendors.

Maintain organized and accurate records of invoices and payments.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis to support financial operations.

Ensure all accounts payable transactions comply with company policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address any payment-related queries.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

Proficiency in full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and reconciliation.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.

Familiarity with check runs and payment processing procedures.

Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Ability to work on-site in Houston, Texas, five days a week.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and team members.
