Quality Assurance Technician - Electrical Tool Install

Overview

ABM Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to support electrical tool installation activities at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Plant. This role is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of workmanship and supporting successful project delivery in a high-tech, cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform inspections and quality checks on electrical tool installations.

· Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and client standards.

· Document inspection results, deficiencies, and corrective actions.

· Support testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems.

· Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and safety personnel to resolve quality issues.

· Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation.

· Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.

· Report recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

· Ensure adherence to Samsung's cleanroom and facility protocols.

· Provide feedback to crews and supervisors to improve installation quality.

Qualifications:

· Active Journeyman's Electrical License or above

· 3+ years of experience in electrical construction or quality assurance.

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and industry codes.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· OSHA 30 certification required.

· Familiarity with quality management tools and reporting systems.

Preferred Experience:

· Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.

· Prior work on Samsung projects or similar tool install clients.

· Knowledge of commissioning procedures and cleanroom quality standards. Benefit Information:
