What You Will Do: GFT is seeking a Sr. Project Manger/Engineer, Electrical to join our Buildings and Places Business Group in Fife, WA ! This role full time on site ( 5 days a week) at our Fife, WA location. From energy-efficient power systems to advanced HVAC and plumbing designs, our team contributes to a resilient and sustainable built environment, pushing the boundaries of building system design and optimizing performance while addressing the unique needs of each facility. What you'll be challenged to do: This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Electrical Project Manager/Engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The role highlights a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional quality and results on every project. You will be doing a combination of the design work as well as managing projects. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Project Management of a team of engineers/designers to complete electrical design projects. Coordinate with other disciplines as required for a successful project. Interface with clients and owners. Writing project specifications. Managing project budgets. Meet with clients for the purposes of obtaining future work. Design building and site lighting systems. Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment. Calculate and analyze electrical loads. Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design. Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines. Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review. Perform construction site visits and write field reports. Education | Experience:What you will bring to our firm: Minimum of 15 years experience in the A/E/C industry Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCad, Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent communications skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team Excellent attention to detail Compensation: The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Featured Benefits:
