Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Portland, ME

Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our team and ensure smooth, efficient operations. The Production Supervisor oversees the daily production activities, including managing workload, workflow, staffing, training, safety, and quality. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working on the floor, coaching team members, and driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure SLA are met daily

Supervise daily workload, employees, and production workflow from setup to completion

Onboard, train, and coach team members; identify gaps and execute performance improvement plans

Collaborate with leadership to ensure adequate staffing and work distribution

Enforce safety standards and participate as an active member of the Safety Team

Maintain organized, clean, and efficient production areas

Investigate and resolve production issues; implement corrective and preventative actions

Act as liaison between production operations and client services

Manage material staging, job changes, quality signoffs, and preparation of mail for nightly pickup

Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment

Experience leading teams, coaching employees, and managing workflow

Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems (Microsoft Office experience preferred)

Knowledge of basic math, fractions, and percentages

Lean manufacturing experience preferred

Color printing and/or mail inserting experience a plus

Pay Details: $34.00 to $42.00 per hour
