Job Title: Mechanical DesignerJob Description

As a contractor, you will support a large ERP implementation focusing on part setup and standardization within the ERP, transferring part numbers from IFS to Kinetic/Epicor, product and part design, and making modifications to existing designs and bills of materials (BOMs).

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and standardization of parts within the ERP system.

Transfer part numbers from IFS to Kinetic/Epicor.

Engage in product and part design.

Modify existing designs and BOMs as necessary.

Essential Skills

2+ years of Mechanical Design experience.

Minimum Associate's degree in a related field to design or manufacturing.

Experience with mechanical design, sheet metal, and project management.

Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor; Solidworks is also acceptable.

Project management skills or experience in project planning without a defined timeline or advanced notice.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior experience with ERP implementation and file transfer.

Familiarity with Solidworks, Mechanical Engineering, Creo, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and new product development.

Work Environment

The role offers a remote and hybrid work opportunity. Candidates can work fully remote after a week onsite for onboarding with the team, processes, and products. A hybrid schedule can be discussed during the interview. The design team comprises 41 members across various departments, including Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, and Aerospace. This is a Contract position based out of Osseo, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
